VENTURA, CALIF. -May 23, 2006-Visual Concepts, LLC of Ventura, Calif., has received a follow-on contract valued at $500,000 to enhance the enterprise data management and collaboration infrastructure the company built for The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Gulf Region Division. This contract brings to $4.3 million the total of Visual Concepts' contracts for the "Rebuild Iraq" effort.

The Internet and intranet enterprise portals, electronic data/document management and Web conferencing solutions in operation are:

• "Rebuild Iraq" Internet portal (rebuilding-iraq.net)
  
• Oracle Collaboration Suite
  
• Project Submittal Control System
  
• "Rebuild Iraq" intranet portal
  

These 24/7 systems enable the Army Corps to track $18.4 billion in infrastructure construction projects and manage critical functions such as: secured Web conferencing between Baghdad and U.S. offices, distributing project documents, communicating construction progress for over 25,000 projects, creating reports and work order requests and managing 45,000 discrete procurement actions.

"The contract's logistics required for Visual Concepts were challenging and complex: an active war zone, a virtual working environment, global political interests and regulatory requirements, a Middle East time zone and creating an enterprise-level infrastructure for a mission critical organization," said Priscilla Rouse Becker, CEO, Visual Concepts.
