VENTURA, CALIF.-July 11, 2006-Visual Concepts, LLC of Ventura, Calif., has been designated as a prime contractor under the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) acquisition program which expands the company's capabilities in providing information technology services for the United States Navy and other government organizations.

For the next 10 years, the company can now compete for $5.3 billion-worth of services per year in 22 functional areas, such as:

• System design documentation and technical data support
• Software engineering, development, programming, and network support
• Information system development, information assurance and information technology support
• Training support
• Engineering systems engineering and process engineering support

Visual Concepts, LLC may compete as a prime contractor in three out of seven zones designated by the contract vehicle: National Capital (Zone 2), Gulf Coast (Zone 4) and Southwest (Zone 6) and as sub-contractor in the remaining zones. In addition to full and open task orders, the company qualifies to bid on Small Business, 8(a) and HUBZone set-aside task orders.

This contract vehicle streamlines the Navy's proposal process and implements cost-effective and integrated business practices to better support the Navy. The Navy, and other government organizations, now have access to over 800 "preferred vendors," including Visual Concepts, LLC. The entire proposal process is managed via an online portal located at seaport.navy.mil.
